Competitive Events
FBLA encourages members to participate in competitions to demonstrate leadership and gain real knowledge about various careers.
Details on specific events can be found at fbla.org
Roleplay Events
Roleplay events consist of an objective test as well as a live component in an interview-like setting. Preliminary material may also have to be submitted prior to NJSLC to be eligible to attend.
Tests prior to NJSLC will be taken on campus, however tests preceding the National Leadership Conference will be taken on the site of the conference. Additional specific material can be found on the official FBLA website.
Presentations are presented at the New Jersey State Leadership Conference. Some events may require competitors to submit completed projects prior to the conference. These events can be done individually or in teams of up to three.
All presenters must turn in a complete project before NJSLC in order to be attend. Incomplete projects will disqualify eligibility.
